Icardi-Inter, a meeting has been scheduled to discuss a contract renewal

Jean-Luca Mascaro (@CalcioNews89) Inter are being active on the transfer market in an attempt to strengthen Roberto Mancini's roster. Mauro Icardi has been on Napoli's radar for a while now but Inter want to keep the Argentine forward. Icardi's entourage and Inter will soon meet to discuss a contract renewal as a meeting is scheduled between the parties (that should occur on Friday). Inter's intentions are to finalize a renewal once the transfer market is closed. As Inter's American tour came to an end, Icardi today tweeted that he is anxious for this upcoming season to begin:  "The start of the new season is arriving soon which is a joy ". Napoli are pessimistic a deal can be closed as Inter want to keep their player.
