Hope Solo visits Florence:"Women's football is growing in Italy"

Yesterday's match between Fiorentina and Chieti in Italy's top women's football league had a special guest- United States national team goalkeeper Hope Solo. She was accompanied by her husband, former NFL tight end, Jeremy Stevens as well as Giuseppe Pezzano who started a collaboration between teams in Italy and the United States with his Osa Soccer Group. This is what Hope Solo told GianlucaDiMarzio.com in an exclusive interview:"I saw a Fiorentina that was very organized, I'd like to see one day matches between Italian and American clubs. It would allow us to gauge the level of each reality. In Italy women's football is growing and that is great. I don't have any doubts on its constant evolution. But there is need for constant support also in terms of fans attendance and so we need better marketing initiatives to improve the visibility"
