Julian Nafelsmann's departure could be just the first of many changes at Hoffenheim next season. The German club, that is preparing a complete squad make over in order to raise the bar even further up, has begun to take the first steps on the transfer market, as the are very close to signing 1999-born striker Franko Kovacevic.
The Croatian striker's economic rights will be redeemed by NK Rudes, the club where he has been playing consistently since last February. Many clubs had set thier sights on the former Hajduk Split player, including Freiburg, CSKA and Lokomotiv Moscow, Cluj and Alaves. Hoffenheim sporting director Rosen managed to get ahead of the competition and now the German club is very close to add Kovacevic to their squad.
