Gonzalo Higuain's brother/agent spoke about the Napoli front-man today to the press:
“Gonzalo will not renew his contract with Napoli. They want teams to pay his full rescission clause to buy-him and at these conditions we cannot renew Higuain's contract at the moment. Next year we will see what Napoli's intentions are. Gonzalo is very professional and he will respect his contract which will be expiring in 2018. But as I said, Napoli are wrong and at these conditions we won't renew. Napoli had an ambitious project with a constant development but these developments never really happened”.
“ I can't accept the criticism Gonzalo received from Argentine fans, it isn't fair. Who is Higuain's heir with the national team? I would say Mauro Icardi”.
