After the turn of events this morning, and the numerous confirmations filtered in throughout the afternoon, Gonzalo Higuain and Juventus are ready to come together. In fact, the Argentine striker should be in Turin at the beginning of next week, perhaps on Tuesday or Wednesday, when the bianconeri will have defined all of the details for Napoli. For now, Higuain will remain in Madrid until Juventus gives the ok for him to return to Italy. However, Pipita is not the only ongoing negotiation as Marotta and Paratici continue to work to define the details of the agreement with Manchester United for the transfer of Paul Pogba to England. Mino Raiola remains by the player’s side in Miami, in anticipation of the conclusion of the deal between Juventus and United.
With respect to Napoli, instead, they are already thinking about the heir to ‘Pipita’. Many names have been considered of interest to owner De Laurentiis and director Giuntoli, most notably that of Carlos Bacca. The Colombian is a player that they like, but that would force coach Sarri to change his formation, in the event the team considers a move for Riccardo Saponara. Napoli have also inquired as to the availability of Icardi, despite Inter’s unwillingness to sell, he remains an unlikely dream such as Morata. A possible sale for Milik appears to be blocked Ajax, and Kalincic, even if his agent hasn’t confirmed new contacts since January, it is assumed the player will be presented in Florence on July 26th.
Gabigol and Tevez are also amongst the profiles being considered, but Napoli has yet to start a negotiation for either. Regarding the midfield, the partenopei are trying to close the deal quickly with Lyon for Tolisso and Dinamo Zagreb for Rog -- they will make the decisive attempt in the next few days.
