After a rocky start to the season and a managerial change - with coach Ante Covic replaced by Jürgen Klinsmann - Hertha Berlin are at work to bolster their squad. The German side are in fact close to finalise the signing of Santiago Ascacibar, an Argentinian midfielder born in 1997 currently playing for Stuttgart in Germany's second tier.
The deal could be closed in the coming days - before the end of the year - for a transfer fee of €12 million, double the sum Stuttgart spent to bring him in from Argentinian side Estudiantes in 2017.
