After a breakout season on loan at Perugia, Han Kwang-Song has become a hot name on the transfer market. Despite only being 19 years old, the striker has scored 7 goals to go with 3 assists in 17 matches, Cagliari have already set his value at around €30 million. In an exclusive interview with GianlucaDiMarzio.com, Han’s agent Sandro Stemperini discussed his client’s situation:”The most important thing for the player is that in this moment there’s serious interest from Juventus who want to bring him to Turin. Cagliari and the bianconeri are negotiating, both parties are open to the move and the valuation of his rights is between them. Let’s allow the parties to discuss while we hope they reach an agreement. We’ve been talking to Fabio Paratici of this possibility for the past two days, but the interest started last September, basically every week there was a scout from Juventus watching him at Perugia”
Are there clubs other than Juventus interested? “Yes, a ton honestly and they are of high caliber, both in Europe and in Italy. But again these are verbal interests, the team that has taken concrete action is Juventus who is now moving forward with the negotiation. For me the best thing is that he continues to play on loan either at Perugia or Cagliari. He can finish the season in Serie B and then play a season in Serie A at Cagliari, or return to Sardegna now and stay for a year and a half to grow. The important thing is that he has this learning experience at Cagliari, that is everyone’s wish”
