Hamsik's agent Venglos:"He received many offers from top clubs, but he's happy at Napoli"

Players staying long term at the same club are becoming a rarity. Just this summer Napoli saw Higuain leave for Juventus, but the partenopei do a have Marek Hamsik who has now played in over 300 matches for the club. The midfielder's agent, Juraj Venglos, gave an interview to Corriere dello Sport in which he revealed that his client turned down numerous offers to leave:"To stay at the club he declined many prestigious proposals, from pretty much all of the top leagues in Europe. Did Juventus try last summer? Yes it's true. But I don't want to get into the details, I don't think it's appropriate to list names of teams or reveal confidential situations. I will just say Hamsik received many offers on top of those known by the public"
