Marek Hamsik is set to say goodbye to Napoli, after spending 11 season with the Partenopei. The Slovakian midfielder has already signed the contract with his new club Dalian Yifang and will travel to China next week. According to Sky Sport journalist Domenico Modugno, Napoli will receive a transfer fee of €18 million, plus 2 million in add-ons. The two clubs are discussing the last details concerning the payment of the fee, with an agreement set to be reached on the basis of an outright sale in one installment, instead of a loan with obligation to buy.
Hamsik will have his medicals in Madrid, then he will return to Slovakia with his family and board to China from there. There's also the possibility that the Azzurri's captain could return to San Paolo for a big match and say goodbye to the fans.
In the deal between two club, could have been involved also a project involving movies, since the owners of both Napoli and Dalian are active in the movie business. A friendly match to be played next summer is also another possibility. Hamsik, who also received a concrete offer from Milan when Yonghong Li owned the club, is now ready to start a new professional adventure in China.
