Inter and Real Madrid both officially announced the transfer of Hakimi to the nerazzurri on Thursday, with Real bidding farewell to the player who arrived in their youth ranks in 2006, and Inter welcoming him to the club until 2025 on a new contract. Hakimi will begin his new adventure in Serie A next season, and will be signed to a 5-year contract at €5m after taxes per season. Inter paid a €40m + €5m bonus fee to Real Madrid to land the player.
