Guardiola:”Jorginho picked Sarri, I couldn’t force him”

Everything seemed to be set for Jorginho’s transfer to Manchester City, but after Chelsea hired Sarri, the Itali Brazilian midfielder headed to Stamford Bridge with his former manager. Guardiola addressed the situation during today’s press conference to introduce the Community Shield match:”We we’re close but in the end Jorginho decided to stay with Sarri. And I always said I want players who want to come here. He evidently didn’t want this. We tried, we thought it was closed but at the last minute he decided to go to Chelsea.
