Salernitana has hired Angelo Gregucci to be the new coach of the first team after the resignation of Stefano Colantuono. The coach, who has already spent time coaching the Granata in 2004 and 2014, has also had experience helping Roberto Mancini at Manchester City, and being the assistant coach at Inter.
After resolving his contract with the FIGC, he will sign a contract that will tie him to Salerno until 2020, with an automatic renewal of one year in case of promotion to the Serie A. Below is the Federation's statement on the consensual resolution.
"The Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio announces that it has resolved in a consensual way the contract of collaboration with Mr. Angelo Adamo Gregucci, member of the technical staff of the national men's team led by Roberto Mancini. FIGC president Gabriele Gravina thanks Angelo Adamo Gregucci for the fruitful work carried out with mutual satisfaction in these months, formulating at the same time the best wishes for the continuation of his career".
