The National Antidoping Tribunal has released their decision regarding the case of Giuseppe Rossi. The forward was found to have tested positive during a test on 12 May 2018 before a Benevento-Genoa match. The council recommended a year bad as a punishment. Rossi later released clarifying statements backing up his claims of innocence. Now, the decision from the National Antidoping Tribunal will not ban Rossi, instead, the Italo-American will only receive censure from the court. Rossi, now a free agent after ending his relationship with Genoa, will look to find a new club to restart his playing career.
