Giuseppe Rossi tore his anterior cruciate ligament: Celta Vigo's announcement

The worst case scenario was unfortenately confirmed for Giuseppe Rossi this morning. The Italo American striker will have to have another surgery with a significant rehabilitation to return to the pitch after tearing the anterior ligament cruciate in his left knee. His current club Celta Vigo issued a statement this morning:"The medical exams given to striker Giuseppe Rossi showed the tearing of the ligament cruciate in his left leg, the lesion was suffered during the match against Eibar. The player will need surgery and will be out for a period of at least six months"
