After being sidelined due to an injuiry in the first stint of the season, Brazilian midfielder Sandro is finally ready to give his contribution to Genoa's cause. "I'll be at the top of my fitness in three games time - said Sandro to Il Secolo XIX - I chose Genoa for its unique history. I'm 29, I've won trophies in Brazile and I've played for Tottenham, I don't need a stepping stone for my career".
The former Spurs player discussed also about his role models and his teammate Piatek, the surprising Serie A top goal scorer so far: "I think I'm a bit like Dunga, my father nicknamed me Dunga when I was a kid. And it was Dunga that called me up in the national team when I was younger. Piatek? He resembles Kane. He scores a lot and he is never satisfied. He is "hungry" just like day one, he knows what he wants".
