It was a Sunday to forget for Thiago Motta and his Genoa squad, as Cristian Romero has suffered an injury during the team's loss to Udinese.
The Argentinian defender was substituted in the 70' due to an injury to his flexor. Thiago Motto spoke on the decision to pull the player in his post-game conference. "I pulled him because I didn't want to run the risk of losing him for a month."
While Motta played it safe by avoiding worsening the injury, the player will still need to be evaluated to see how severe the injury is and if he'll be ready to play Napoli next Saturday.
