Ballardini and Genoa will continue their journey together: Preziosi has decided, the Grifone will continue next season with the man that got them to avoid another relegation, in a really though context thanks to an amazing race. The first time has been good too for "Balla", who, after two relegations avoided (2011 and 2013), will finally get his chance to create his Genoa from the beginning, in that Neustift retreat.
There's no signature yet, but there's an agreement between the president and his coach: a one year contract with a second one in option, as was reported by Ricardo Re for Sky Sport 24 - Preziosi has decided to not use the option he had for Davide Nicola (which expired on the 30th of April), blocked when he still had doubts on confirming Ballardini's position.
