After the disappointment in their derby, Genoa is filled with joy as they beat Milan 3-0 and bring themselves to fifth place in the league. The satisfaction is evident in Enrico Preziosi’s comments to Sky Sport:
‘I personally picked Ivan Juric, he was the best choice for Genoa, I think we’ll accomplish a lot together. He is our present so we plan on holding him very tightly. Next week we’ll see how things go against Gasperini. Given the choice, I would have rather won against Sampdoria in the derby as opposed to Milan. Nonetheless, this 3-0 is a sign of rebirth after a defeat that could have had serious repercussions’.
