Negotiations are ongoing between Genoa and Juventus (based on a loan formula), as Genoa President Preziosi is looking to add experience in goal even though Radu has been putting in good performances. Matteo Perin is a former Genoa captain who has a deep knowledge of the club and he would increase the experience level of the squad. Genoa also reached a deal to bring in Bruno Amione, who is owned by Belgrano in Argentina and turns 18 on January 3. The two clubs have a good relationship, as the Argentinan club will receive 10% of the transfer fee for Romero (bought by Juventus and on loan at Genoa). The deal is based on a transfer fee of 4.5 million euros, but there are still discussions about the payment formula. Genoa will have to wait until the player turns 18 years old to conclude the deal.
