Atalanta prospect Filippo Melegoni is set to start a new chapter of his career in Serie A. The 21-year-old midfielder has arrived in Genoa to undergo a medical ahead of his imminent transfer from Atalanta.
The Rossoblu managed to jump ahead of other club - especially Parma - in the race to sign the player and closed a deal for a two-year loan with a forced option to buy. After the medical tests, Melegoni will sign his new contract with Genoa.
