Genoa is working on closing a deal for Badelj. The midfielder is on his way out of Lazio and is one of the main objectives for sporting director Faggiano. In the last hours after a series of meetings with his agent Lucci, the sides are close to a final agreement: the deal could be structured as a multi-year basis on an outright sale.
Another deal with the same agent, Genoa is finalizing the sale of Favilli to Verona, and returning will be Stepinski to the rossoblù on loan. The negotiations are slated to close on Monday.
