Genoa are looking to bring a reinforcement for Prandelli's midfield and one of the Grifone's main targets for the winter transfer window is Bosnian player Rade Krunic, at Empoli since 2015.
The midfielder, born in 1993, was already of interest to Preziosi's club in the summer but now Genoa's director Perinetti made an offer in the region of 5-6 million euros to try and persuade Empoli's director of football Donatelli to let Krunic leave. However, the initial bid was deemed too low by Empoli's president Corsi, who seems determined to keep Krunic in January, unless some very significant offers are made to the club.
