Genoa, Kouame ruptures anterior cruciate ligament

The international break brought same bad news to Genoa and manager Thiago Motta, Christian Kouame has in fact ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament. The striker left Ivory Coast's Under 23 match against South Africa in the 72nd minute yesterday, tests today confirmed the severity of the injury. So far this season, Kouame had scored five goals in eleven matches.
