After the international break and the Ballardini-Juric change, the Rossoblù will face Juventus and, less than 7 days away from this big clash, Genoa director Giorgio Perinetti has given an interview to Tuttosport: " Piatek is a different striker than all the other ones I've had, he makes me think about the 60s-70s great strikers: many goals and not a lot of words. I was surprised by how serene he is, especially in the last period where he's been the center of the mediation attention almost everyday".

"His maturity surprised me. He seems to live inside a bubble, doesn't get distracted by anything. He lives for his next goal. A surprise? Not really, from the first game, we had seen he was a precise striker. He's started incredibly well but we're still at the beginning, after the break there will be Juventus that will only be the first step of Piatek measuring himself against superior opponents. We're curious about how he'll perform at that more difficult level".

How much is worth such a striker? "There aren't any goal bonuses in his contract, but it's normal to reward a player when he does this well. We'll see, these are premature talks for the moment. Is there a risk with the coaching change? No risk at all, we're talking about a player who has scoring goals in his DNA. All these goals aren't casual. We need to let him grow quietly though, he's only 23 and has big improvement margins. He doesn't only have a better shot than the others, he's got many and is really special. Let's say it isn't even his best feature: he's really good at getting undercover to then get back when he can score. Here's how Kri is... Yes, let's call him like that, I can't pronounce his name".

"Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund? We've had to give a lot of accreditations to many Spanish and German scouts or board members at the Marassi stadium lately. Every big Italian team has also made inquiries, but like president Preziosi said, the Genoa fans will be the ones enjoying Piatek until the end of the season. We're not the one setting his price, we still have to evaluate his improvement margins. The price will be set by the offers and the concurrence".
