Genoa is strengthening their midfield, as they closed on a deal for Atalanta's Filippo Melegoni. They fought off competition from Parma for the class of '99 player, who will be with Genoa on a two year loan with the right to buy.
The player will arrive in the Ligurian capital tomorrow morning to complete medical visits, and then to sign his contract. He is not the only signing for Genoa this Sunday, though. The rossoblù also closed for Arezzo's Giuseppe Caso. The class of '98 winger will arrive on a definitive title.
