Genoa complete signing of Chelsea's Zappacosta: the details

Genoa have finalized the deal for Chelsea fullback Davide Zappacosta. He will move on a season long loan to the Serie A club. On Friday the medicals and signatures with his new club are scheduled. Genoa had pursued Candreva for the right flank but given the difficulty in the deal have moved for Zappacosta. Last season he appeared in 9 matches for Roma, returning to action in late June after an ACL injury.
