Davide Ballardini's Geno will face Napoli and Maurizio Sarri at the San Paolo stadium tomorrow. 90 minutes that the Rossoblù coach has introduced in the pre-game conference:
"Tomorrow we'll play against the best team, that plays a different football from the others: it will be very challenging, I'm really curious about the match we'll play. We're a team that is all about seriousness, humility and generosity. It will be a very intense game from the beginning until the end".
"Is it more difficult for Genoa to face Napoli or vice versa? I think that both teams will face difficulties, we are really serious, and have motivations and qualities to win the game. If we really want to talk about games that have been resolved in the last moments, they have been more in our favor: we are really sorry for how the defeat came, but everything can happen in football".
"Will I change something respect to the lineup that faced Milan? No, Genoa must always have the will to do well in both game phases with every player. We're good, but once in a while aren't that good with the control of the ball: Genoa must never stop in their growing plan, improving the control of the ball and conditioning the opponents in the defensive phase".
"Do i have doubts? No, initially no. The game will then tell what to do". About the injuries: "Izzo and Veloso won't be there, Armando is set to come back to the squad while the midfielder needs a bit of time. Rossi and Taarabt? They're selected, but I don't know how much they could play".
In the end, the coach also talks about the race to avoid relegation: "Everything is still open, every team is extremely motivated. This is exciting, there are no squads who show a lack of motivation or a bad attitude".
