Will Ibrahimovic renew his contract or leave? Will Bakayoko arrive from Chelsea? Will an agreement be found with Real Madrid for Brahim Diaz? These are questions swirling around at Casa Milan, where the rossonero management is trying to best prepare for next season and qualify for Champions League.

This morning Gazidis, Maldini and Massara spoke with the press to clarify their ongoing discussions and what they're working to achieve in the next days.

"We want to give continuity to the growth that there was last season. We don't only think about young talents, it's right to make a mix between young and older players. Our challenge is to strengthen the squad and maintain healthy and sustainable finances. A new stadium will be important, we're working on it," said Gazidis.

Maldini added in the following: "We are putting forward our idea for the Milan of the future. 9 new players arrived last year, almost all confirmed. Now there will be targeted acquisitions. We don't want to deceive anyone, we won't make huge signings like in the past but we're always aware of opportunities."

On Leao, Massara said: "Leao was able to do important things. In the second part of the year, he grew a lot, even if we still expect someone like him to grow a lot more."

On Ibra's renewal: "He's always had an important role and we want to continue to have him. We're doing everything to find an agreement. Personally, I'm optimistic about the outcome of the negotiation," said Gazidis. Maldini added: "We're working hard to find an agreement. He knows that he's our priority."

On Bakayoko and Aurier: "We know Bakayoko and it's surely our discussion. We want to bring him back to Milan, it's useless to hide that. Now we wait and see how it happens. Aurier, instead, is a great player but in this moment there are not the necessary conditions. He cannot be our objective."

On Donnarumma and Calabria: "His contract expires next June and that's a problem. We are confident that he can continue with us. We'll offer him the best conditions possible. We're ready to make an offer aligned with the value of a player who is so important. Calabria? He's not on the market."

On Rebic, who Milan is working to acquire on a definitive title: "We're very happy with Rebic, I hope that he can stabilize his position."
