On May 25th, Rino Gattuso officially replaced Iachini as Fiorentina's manager, but now he is set to leave the club before even managing one of their matches.
There are no margins for the parties to reconcile and they are now working on rescinding his contract.
The reason for the breakup is tied to a disagreement on the strategy on the transfer market made by the club when it comes to players suggested by Jorge Mendes who is also Gattuso's agent, Fiorentina would rather go for less expensive options than players like Porto's Oliveira- there aren't the conditions for Gattuso and Fiorentina to reconcile.
