Gian Piero Gasperini spoke at a press conference on the eve of his side's next match for Matchday 2 of the Serie A TIM. After a 4-0 victory over newly promoted Frosinone, Atalanta will travel to the Stadio Olimpico to take on Roma.
"There is great anticipation for this match. It is true that we have an important meeting on Thursday with the return of the Europa League play-offs, but right now we are only thinking about Roma. We will start thinking about F.C. Copenhagen Tuesday morning. As I see it, Atalanta must play without making calculations and a match like this, postponed to Monday night, in a stadium like the Olimpico against a great team, must be tackled the best possible way".
"Roma has strengthened their side, adding important players. I consider them amongst the best teams in the league. Eusebio Di Francesco did a great job last year and is doing well now. Bryan Cristante? With us, he had a fantastic journey, showing maturity both as a player and as a man. I wish him all the best to become an important player for Roma and for the Italian national team".
