Juventus wants Gabigol: As reported yesterday, an offer of 18 million is ready for the young Santos striker, his ownership is divided amongst, Doyen Sports, his father and Santos. The Brazilian club who earlier in the week had announced the youngster’s renewal until 2021, saying that the offer had been made and the only things missing were the signatures. There was also a meeting fixed for the signature to take place. In the night however, in the match against Palmeiras (which Gabigol scored in) the class of ’96 spoke: “my renewal isn’t certain. We’re speaking, I still have to discuss certain things with my father and my agent. I have some offers. Still, nothing is confirmed”. A step back which made Santos against renewing his contract. It’s standard to think that the player’s words and the lack of a renewal are due to Juve entering the scene. The bianconeri have received the ok from his father and his agents to begin negotiating for 18 million.
