First the medical visits in Rome, now the official statement: Joel Campbell is the newest player to join Frosinone.

"Joel Campbell has joined Serie A side Frosinone Calcio on a permanent transfer. The versatile forward joined us from Deportivo Saprissa in August 2011 and made 40 first-team appearances. Joel also spent time on loan at Lorient, Olympiacos, Vilarreal, Sporting Lisbon and had two spells with Spanish side Real Betis, where he spent the duration of the 2017/18 season. The 26-year-old is a Costa Rica international with 79 caps and 15 goals for his country. He was part of their squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia where he made two appearances. We would like to thank Joel for his contribution to the club and wish him well for the future. The transfer is subject to the completion of regulatory processes."
