It's hectic days at Napoli with regards to the club's dealing on the transfer window. The negotiations regarding Herrera continue but Sporting Director Giuntoli continues to work on other targets as well in order to gift coach Maurizio Sarri with another midfielder.

The two names on his list are Vecino and Zielinski, with the former being preferred ahead of the latter although negotiations for both players continue at the same time. With regards to Vrsaljko Sassuolo and Napoli have found an agreement but the deal has become complicated due to the player's choices. The alternative remains Udinese's Widmer, a player that's hardly convinced anyone at Napoli and that looks unlikely given that Udinese are asking for €15 million. Napoli are also interested in Torino's Bruno Peres but is viewed more as a back-up to Callejon than a full-back. Therefore it's still to early say that Napoli are interested in him, also because many clubs outside of Italy are keen on the Brazilian.

Lapadula remains the prime candidate to reinforce the Napoli attack as the Partenopei are ready to make their first signings of the transfer window.
