At only 20 years old Patrick Cutrone has already become a fundamental part of Milan's team. He was always the brightest attacking prospect in their youth academy, and his form has translated to the first team right off the bat. This year, the youngster has had the opportunity to play alongside serial goalscorer, Gonzalo Higuain, and had this to say about the Argentine in an interview to Dazn: "Observing him in training, I always understand something new. It is easier to play when you are alongside someone like him, but even alone I believe I can have my say."
He continued by speaking about his hunger and where it originated from: "The hunger I have on the pitch was given to me from my father, I always have the desire to get better and do well. I want to feel like a protagonist. I am never satisfied with my performance, even when I score a goal I am already thinking at what mistake I made before and how I will do the next time I find myself in a similar situation."
Aside from Higuain, Cutrone's idol is someone who played in Serie A a couple of years ago: "I love Morata, someone who has always succeeded to do well and who has my principle characteristics: speed and a sense of goal."
