In the past few weeks Frank de Boer has discussed his experience at Inter in lengthy in interviews, in the most recent one with de Telegraaf he talked about the timing of his hiring:"This experience took away a lot of my energy: I spent three months at Inter, but it felt like more than a year. They offered me to coach the team two weeks before the start of the season. I had to learn a new language in a very short amount of time, it was very complicated. I was hoping the club would give me more time, Inter's directors knew that my project couldn't be developed in a short amount of time. I don't feel damaged by the sacking, I knew it wouldn't be easy"
