The Spanish midfielder's contract with the nerazzurri recently expired, his agent is on his way to Italy to work on the potential move. Borja Valero played at Fiorentina between 2012 and 2017 and has strong ties to the city- he put his negotiation with Verona on stand by after turning down Genoa.
Fiorentina would have to move a midfielder to open up a slot for Borja Valero, especially after also being on the verge of signing Bonaventura.
