Fiorentina, training facility by Franchi stadium to be named after Astori

The city of Florence has approved the motion submitted by Andrea Vannucci a few days ago, the training facility by the Franchi stadium will be named after Davide Astori. The Fiorentina captain passed away on March 4th, and now the training facility previously known as “I Campini” in piazzale Campioni del 56 will bear his name. Vannucci explained how the decision was made “It was a choice made with Fiorentina and Astori’s family, his name will now be on the campini as well as in the hearts of all Fiorentina fans”.
