Bad news for Fiorentina after their draw against Napoli as they've lost Kevin Mirallas, who got subbed off injured, and German Pezzella who stayed on the pitch until the end of the game despite feeling pain.
The club has made their absence official after the players took some tests: the Viola captan suffers from a second degree injury to the medial collateral ligament of the right knee. Mirallas' injury is less serious as he has a first degree lesion at the medial twin of the right leg.
In the best case scenario, Pezzella would return after a month and a half so he'd miss the games against Spal, Inter, Atalanta, Lazio, Cagliari and maybe Torino. He won't be able to play in the Coppa Italia semifinal against Atalanta either, as his teammates will face the Nerazzurri on February 27th.
