Franck Ribery took to his personal twitter account to ask forgiveness for his behavior at the end of the Fiorentina-Lazio match yesterday evening. After being substituted, the Frenchman appeared aggravated but his attitude worsened at the end of the match when he visually went after the assistant referee and got himself expelled after the game. Here is what his apology said:
"I am very sorry for yesterday evening, I ask forgiveness from my teammates, the coach and the fans. I ask for forgiveness even from Passeri because at the end of the match I was very nervous and regretful and I hope he understands what mood I was in. I would like to always be on the field, because I came here to Florence for this city and this club and I expect more attention for Fiorentina, the attention given to other clubs, for the great work we are doing everyday together."
