A home loss to Benevento was not the start Cesare Prandelli had in mind when he agreed to return to Fiorentina. Following the game the former Italy manager spoke to Sky Sport:"My return is on the back burner. I'm very disappointed, I need to understand numerous things. At the first sign of difficulty, the team becomes timid and scared, this is absolutely not a good thing. We must be a team even when facing difficulties. There's a lot of work to be done, we must improve"
Prandelli went on:"The squad's fragility concerns me, but we have all the time to improve. It's not a matter of ability or formation, at the first difficulty we lose our mentality and aggressiveness and that needs to change. The only medicine is work, this team must become a group in all components"
