The home loss to Frosinone today was the latest disappointing result for Fiorentina who haven’t won in the past seven matches. In response, the Tuscan club posted an announcement on their official site concerning their current manager Stefano Pioli “Following the serious loss against Frosinone, ownership and the club’s management will meet in the next 48 hours with the goal of analyzing the situation and identifying all the measures needed to guarantee the effort needed in the last phase of the season”
Pioli however doesn’t seem in danger of immediate sacking, especially considering Fiorentina are still in contention in the Coppa Italia. But his relationship with the club has grown cold and he’s certain to leave at the end of the season by mutual decision.
