Stefano Pioli previewed Fiorentina's upcoming match with Cagliari, updating on several of Fiorentina's injury concerns. La Viola are still in competition for the Coppa Italia, while also fighting for positioning in the league:
"We will grit our teeth and be highly concentrated. Chiesa is better, he could be available to play tomorrow night. Lafont took part in his first training back today, it's hard to see him playing in the match against Cagliari. Most likely he will be on the bench. Same goes for Edimilson, he's suffering a bit, we will see how it turns out."
