Fiorentina, Pezzella: "Thanks to River Plate I'm programmed to win. We are a compact group with a positive attitude"

Fiorentina defender German Pezzella has surprised everyone since his arrival in Florence with some solid performances in defence. "The credit goes to all the team, - the Argentinian says, interviewed by Corriere dello Sport - we are a compact group with a positive attitude. I played with River, a club where it doesn't matter if you play well or not. The only things that matters is winning. I've been there for ten years and that's why I'm programmed to win". Pezzella also talked about his fellow countryman and predecessor Gonzalo Rodriguez: "I know him and I know also the Fiorentina's great tradition with Argentinian defenders. Anyway, Gonzalo and I are two completely different type of players".
