Fiorentina's captain German Pezzella is on the verge of leaving Florence and Italy to join La Liga side Betis. The Argentinian defender will return to the Andalusian club, where he played from 2015 to 2017.
Betis will pay €3.5 million to complete the signing of the Argentinian cente-back, who will leave Fiorentina after four seasons and pen a four-year deal with the Spanish club.
The Viola opened talks with Schalke 04 over Nastasic more than a month ago, as the Serbian defender will leave the German side for free and rejoin the Viola to replace Pezzella. The former Manchetser City defender is expected to arrive in Florence tomorrow.
