Vincenzo Italiano is still in Florence. After the meeting with the directors on Sunday, the coach, accompanied by his agents, was in and around a notary office in the city center on Monday.
With Fiorentina he is set to sign a new contract after the burocratic details are all worked out. The deal has been reached with a redemption clause of €1 million which Fiorentina will pay to Spezia. For the matter of releasing his staff, la viola will compensate with a youth player yet to be determined.
Italiano after leaving the notary was again at Villa Olmi, the same location where he earlier met with Barone and Pradè.
Italiano is expected to sign a two-year contract with an option for a third on Monday, with Fiorentina's official announcement to come. After losing Gattuso, the next replacement is set to take on the job.
