During the last league match, won by Fiorentina for 3-0 against Spezia, midfielder Giacomo Bonaventura had left the pitch at the end of the first half, replaced by Castrovilli.
The exams have given their response: muscle injury for the player, and Fiorentina will miss him for 2-3 weeks. The club writes: "Fiorentina communicates that this morning Giacomo Bonaventura has undergone diagnostic tests that have showed a first degree injury of the flexor muscle of the left leg. The player has already started the treatment and he will be re-examinated in the following days".
