Fiorentina have collected two points in their first four matches of the Serie A season, today Atalanta came back in stoppage time to tie the match. After the game, Vincenzo Montella analyzed the start of his team’s season in an interview with Sky Sport:”We need to have right perspective. We played Juventus, Napoli and Atalanta as equals. We likely deserved something more. Today we left the pitch mad, if we can keep up with Atalanta it means we are good. If I analyze these four matches, we are on right path”
Montella described his team’s difficulties:”We couldn’t press any more, that is understandable when your opponent is strong. Atalanta are good, they have schemes and know situations. They came back against us, it’s frustrating since there were ten seconds left. There are still many positive things. We played with our heads, it’s understandable to leave pitch in this condition”.
