Fiorentina are monitoring Genk's midfielder Sander Berge, born in 1998, who was already a target in the summer. The Viola had in fact made an enquiry with the Belgian club for Berge last summer, to which Genk responded with an asking price of €25 million. The Viola could plan the purchase of the young Norwegian during the January transfer window, as they keep a keen eye on his performances. A Fiorentina's scout was in fact present at Genk's latest home match versus Royal Excel Mouscron to watch Berge, who started in midfield for the home team.
