Fiorentina and Martinez Quarta have found an agreement, with the 24-year-old defender giving his approval to the move from River Plate to Italy. The player's agent is pushing with his club with the offer from Commisso's Fiorentina at €6m plus different bonuses. The Argentine club however will wait to give a response because of their focus on an upcoming Copa Libertadores match. Both Fiorentina and the agents are hopeful of the agreement becuase River risk losing him for free. The player is set to take medicals in Argentina ahead of a national team callup on Monday.
Ceccherini will most likely depart Fiorentina to make room for Martinez Quarta. Verona is interested. West Ham's offer for Mikenkovic was turned down.
