As it happens for a lot of goalkeepers, Lafont has started as a forward before the starting goalkeeper got injured, replaced him and this changed his life. This is how Alban Lafont's adventure began, a young keeper who's getting used to the Italian football: "The impact with the Italian league has been strong - has he told Tuttosport - It's a very though league: every opponent, even the least strong, will press you continuously and is well organized. I've understood that in Serie A there are no weak teams so you always have to remain focused".
A complicated impact, also because of the different customs he had to get used to: "When you arrive in another country you have to adapt, even the training sessions are really different from what we did at Toulouse".
Thinking that Lafont could already be in London, at Arsenal, as the English side was interested last summer: "I'm really happy to be at Fiorentina and I'm sure I'll grow a lot here. I want to get as far as possible, with the national team as one of my big dreams".
